Scalibor Protectoband is now available without a precription.

Scailbor is designed to control of infestations with ticks (Ixodes ricinus; Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for 5 to 6 months. Control of blood sucking by phlebotomine sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for a period of 5 to 6 months. Anti-feeding effect on adult mosquitoes of the species Culex pipiens for 6 months.

Collar for small and medium-sized dogs.  This white collar, 48cm in length (19g) contains 4.0% deltamethrin which corresponds to 0.76g deltamethrin per collar.

Collar for large dogs.  This white collar, 65cm in length (25g) contains 4.0% deltamethrin which corresponds to 1.0g deltamethrin per collar.

Unlike many products available to treat ticks, the Scalibor Protectorband repels ticks to stop them attaching. Occasionally a tick may attach but it will be killed within 48 hours.

The Scalibor Protectorband contains deltmethrin, which is released from the collar using a unique patented technology. This ensures that a constant release of the deltamethrin occurs for the full 5 to 6 months.
